1920s Lace Tea Dress with Embroidered Appliques
The embroidered appliques are combined with filet lace insets and sleeve trim for a charming summer afternoon tea dress of cotton tulle. It is shown over a yellow silk slip that is not included but gives an idea of how the outfit should be completed. The design is fairly simple with a gently gathered waist line and sleeves that are left open to flutter around the elbows.
Overall the condition is very good to excellent. There is general mellowing of the tulle making it a soft ivory color rather than white. I do not find any holes or snags but there may be a small one that I missed. The dress is clean and wearable with the proper slip in your color of choice.
